Of the 75 million people who are illiterate around the world, two thirds are women and girls. 16 million girls will never set foot in a classroom. At the primary level, 34 million girls (53%) are not attending school.
Best Foot Forward’s (BFF) mission, is to address some of these issues and empower women and girls around the world by giving them access to education – something that many people take for granted.
In 2019, we had over 2500 BFF supporters around the country who put on a pair of pink shoelaces and supported our giving day. In total, this helped us raise over $275,000 which enabled us to educate 550 women and girls and now, with what is happening around the world, we need your support more than ever.
